La Terra is a hypothetical brand that I developed to practice my branding design and package design. The idea came from a small family owned farm I worked for in Bellingham, WA. I pulled on my experience as a farmer there to determine the target market and what the target market values most. Locally sourced, whole ingredients, and an overall grassroots vibe is very important to a town that has a majority of 25-35 year olds. A contemporary, but personable visual language seemed ideal for such a market.
I created physical prototypes in order to be confident that I have a strong understanding of how my designs translate to real objects in a 3D context.
